      How it works

      Getting started is easy. Here’s the high-level flow:

      1. Connect Your ZED Camera Set up your ZED 2i, ZED 2, or ZED X series camera using the ZED SDK.
      2. Publish ZED Data
        ROS based application: Use the ZED ROS Wrapper to publish camera images, depth maps, and point clouds as ROS topics.

        Non ROS based application: Use the custom middleware to connect ZED SDK to Foxglove via websocket enabling seamless publication of camera images, depth maps, and point clouds.
      3. Visualize and debug in Foxglove Open Foxglove, connect to your ROS application / custom middleware, and load the relevant topics. Instantly visualize your stereo video, 3D point clouds, and more inside the flexible FoxgloveUI.
      Pro Tip: You can also record your sessions as MCAP files for playback and analysis later in Foxglove!
